Wasn't responsing when editing, constant freezing and crashing. Weakly made version update. Won't let add mp3s into library, mp3 codec & flac codec missing. Weakly made program (editing program is not supposed to freeze everytime after editing timeline. Timeline is not updating real time while editing. HD presets are not really HD and you have to make your own preset modifications. Program makers probably never heard of good quality. Won't allow making own moving text scripts. (After effects cc).
CamStudio records screen and audio activity on your computer to create AVI video files and turns them into bandwidth-friendly, streaming Flash videos (SWF). CamStudio also lets you add screen captions or video annotations to your recordings through anti-aliased images, or by producing a Webcam movie of yourself (screen in screen) on your desktop. And CamStudio comes with its own lossless codec that produces crystal clear results with a much smaller filesize compared some popular codecs, like Microsoft Video 1. Additional options include cursor controls, the ability to record an entire screen or a portion of it, and selections for output quality. Best of all, CamStudio is easy to use and navigate, plus it includes a built-in Help file.

The good thing about Camtasia is that the free version contains every function of the original one. So, you can try all the game-changing features such as the overlapping media. It’s an inherent mechanic that lets you combine multiple clips into one video. Other programs, such as OBS Studio or Filmora Video Editor, can do the same thing, but not as easily as CS.
Using Adobe Spark as a free video maker simply couldn’t be easier. After selecting the “Video” option from the main menu, you’ll be taken to a title screen — where you can give your video project a title. Enter some text, or skip this stage and head straight to the design interface. Don’t worry if you want to change the title later, as you can make unlimited changes to text. You then get the opportunity to choose a video template or start the design process from scratch.
After capturing a presentation in the Camtasia Recorder, the Camtasia component can be used to modify audio and video displayed as tracks by using the timeline control and object library interface with an integrated preview window. The image in the infobox to the right is a screen capture of the timeline interface. In addition, Camtasia allows automatic captions (speech-to-text), voice overlay for the presenter or editor, as well as the ability to add sound effects in many different formats, including music formats into the clip bin and arrange anywhere on the timeline.

This edit from Nick Smith, the "caretaker" of CamStudio, "to finance future development, CamStudio has chosen to use an ad-supported installer offering other free software during the installation process. Regardless of what AV software is reporting, CamStudio unequivocally is *not* infected with a trojan or any other malicious software. It is possible that software offered via the installer could be triggering the alert, but CamStudio and the installer are both clean."[citation needed]
Jing allows the user to record video, capture images, edit them, and upload them to various websites.[6] Possible uses for Jing include sharing a screen snapshot, narrating vacation photos, capturing a computer bug in action, and in the case of a teacher, showing students how to do a task and commenting verbally on a students homework.[7] It only supports saving to SWF (flash files). Jing is freeware.[8]

When you’re doing a tutorial or game session, and you want the audience to see your expressions, CS can help with that. Use the picture-in-picture mode to create a video showing your instructions on screen. Another cool thing when using this is that Camtasia can split the recorded file into two separate tracks. One for your talking head and one is the actual content. You can edit each of them as an entire project.
